What browser are you using? Edge, Chrome, Firefox?
You can change the download location in the browsers settings

You can also Uninstall UTorrent https://www.techwalla.com/articles/h...stall-utorrent

As I understand, your files are being download with Utorrent which you do not want ?

Try uninstalling Utorrent with the link in post #2.

Utorrent only downloads Torrent files, no other file types. Any other file type, .doc, .jpg, .txt, .MP4 etc will download to your Downloads folder unless you specify a different location. If you uninstall Utorrent Extension in Chrome, using the instructions in post #2 you should be good to go.
If you still have a problem, go to this link How to Uninstall the uTorrent web browser toolbar - General - mTorrent Community Forums and scroll down to the last two entries in the thread for instructions

I'm not sure we're understanding quite what's happening. My guess is you may have a Chrome extension or setting that tells Chrome to use utorrent as your download program.

    Please post screenshots showing this.

    To post screenshots use this
    Windows 10 downloading problem-screenshot-.png

Please give the URL of the page you're trying to download one of these files from. (Other than a torrent file or magnet link).
I assume this might be a zip, jpg, pdf, exe, mp3, avi... anything other than a torrent file or magnet link.

You can try resetting Chrome e.g.
Reset Chrome settings to default - Google Chrome Help
    - if indeed that is appropriate.

Please note: this forum primarily supports Windows 10. For detailed support with a particular program you can try that program's support, forum or community.
