I've gone right off Cortana, just wish that I could turn her off altogether as She is using processer power just sitting there doing nothing, like some high maintenance female, that you wished you never asked out.

@CountMike
Do you have the source that it doesn't do the key logging like a lot of experts claim? I am not referring to posters here. I am referring to the news articles that have been posted about this issue. There are a lot of articles about this subject. If you can prove to me that windows 10 telemetry doesn't record keystrokes, than I will be more than happy to use windows 10 to do my banking & shopping. Can you also prove it doesn't record websites you visit using 3rd party browsers?
All I know is that MS denied keylogging. There's to many "experts" writing all kinds of malarkey all over the place and I'm not out to prove or disapprove anything. I'm much more concerned about malware that can steal my data than what's MS going to do with it. Many are still using XP that is pretty insecure right now.
Hi I'm 100% with you on this and because Windows 10 is so user friendly (at least to me anyway) I feel that we could be losing sight of the fact that some of these experts know what they're talking about.
It would be interesting if someone with a lot more credence than me could put some of these questions to Microsoft direct and see what they come back with in the way of answers.
I know what you're saying, but there is a "Cortana" as seen below, however you are correct in stating that there are many processes it uses that are running also. Here's 2 snips. One is Cortana idle and the other is when opened. Processes go wild when Cortana is opened. After a while Cortana goes idle again and all is calm.
