I somehow missed this poll when it first appeared so just got around to voting in it today.

I am staying with Win 7, Win 8.1 and Win 10. I have machines running each version and they will continue to do so. I see no reason to upgrade any of them.

Over here - I was excited about trying Win 10 on a new digital audio workstation built in August 2015 and I have had decent success since that mid August install.

But after a couple months of studying the real privacy concerns, the forced updates, ongoing incompatibilities (with some specific audio software that is critical to me), outward crashes and a general feeling of "lipstick on a pig" - I am feeling like it's probably time to get off this train.

Again - I am coming at this - not from a "typical" Windows household user but from one who uses (and relies) on Windows for client work. My biggest concern is I am finding it very difficult to find any real justification to upgrade (purely from a "work"perspective) as after two solid months of use I cannot see anything that actually makes 10 better than Windows 7.

So - to ensure I can get control of my environment back and enjoy maximum stability and maturity for my critical customer workflow - I will be rolling this specific machine back to Windows 7 this week.

Gave it a shot and may do so again - but right now (Nov 2015) is not worth the hassle factor.
