that looks like a nice tool ,didn't knew one could do that . Thanks

ps. not that i can think of a reason to "screenshot" an entire webpage ...
The difficulty with scrolling capture (from the tool's viewpoint) is maintaining the scrolling without interruption. When I first went looking for one, I tried several- and most failed to complete the capture as the OP mentioned when trying Duckcapture (generally reliable).

It's possible certain things could interrupt it- changes on the page (some adverts/videos perhaps) or activity on the PC.

Greenshot, for example, also offers scrolling capture- but no idea how reliable it is or where the capture starts from.

@comcom - experiment with these and advise results.

In Edge, you can capture the entire page, using ... > More tools > Save page as > Web page, single file. It just won't capture the line with the URL at the top.

    Is anything missing?
    Looks ok.
I have duckcapture installed many years ago and when I tried it it hang halfway during auto scrolling capture. Now I uninstalled it and redownload it and then reinstall it and I see this error

I do have these installed - the only C++ runtimes as it happens:
How to full screenshot with url?-1.jpg

Normally a program with such a requirement prompts for its download.
You can find that and install it yourself of course.

Greenshot does not offer scrolling capture.
    To be accurate Greenshot says:

Previously I looked at a search summary only.. this mentions IE.. and it's not one I've used.

Screenpresso is popular and say it does..

Is this Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download the correct thing to install to make duckcapture work? No prompt popup to install anything during duckcapture installation.

    From MS: looks like
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/down....aspx?id=26999

    Note this old discussion:
    Problem installing DuckCapture
    - which might suggest the failure is because you have a more recent version installed... maybe..
    - whilst this:
DuckLink Screen Capture – Free screen capture tool
    - suggests it should prompt for the installation.

Maybe your issue arises because this hasn't been updated for a very long time..? But installing a run time is a fairly trivial matter.

Are you able to capture the whole webpage with the chrome browser frame showing the url link together in 1 screenshot? Your screenshot shows url in 1 screenshot, full webpage in another 1 screenshot.

No, the capture is just the page itself. If you want the url as well, then the capture can be 'shared' with an app such as MS Paint (in 'find more apps'). There you could paste a screenshot snip of the url before saving it.

Rather than a screenshot, have you considered saving a local copy of the web page, complete with working links?

Edge can save as an .html file with a linked folder containing its images, etc. (Webpage, complete) that can be opened in any browser, or as a .mhtml file (Webpage, single file) that can only be opened in Edge. Use Ctrl+S
