    Black Screen of Death

This black screen has avoided my usual troubleshooting skill. So I need help.

Screen is black. I try ctrl +win+shift+B and the login arrives just long enough to log in. After login has past in the black I do that again and I see the boot went normal for 5 secs max. Goes black again. Ctrl+ shift+ Del let's me see that screen but goes black before I can do anything.

Nothing else I've tried worked. Same symptoms with and without GPU installed. Running off Motherboard graphics currently.

Hope you guys have a suggestion.

If you have used ---Win+shift+delete ---whilst in the Operating System, this can cause an improper shutdown and possibly corrupt system files.
Could you please reword the sentence ---After login has etc. ---I'm not able to understand it.
The only suggestion is to disconnect the drive and on another unaffected drive, carry out a clean install,if you have access to a working computer.
Filling in the My Computer would help.

    We need more info
Did you try a different HDMI Cable?
Do you see the motherboards splash screen when you boot up?
Can you press the Del key and boot into Setup (Bios)?
The Resolution may be set Out of Range on the monitor.
Restart the computer holding down both Shift keys, You may have to do this 3 times in a Row.
You should see the Troubleshooting menu.. Click Advanced/Startup Settings.
Press 3 to boot into Low Resolution settings.
If that works, you can reinstall the Video driver from your motherboard,. of if you put the GPU back in, from the GPU manufacturers web site.
If all of this fails, try a different monitor?
