A required privilege is not held by the client

In the past week or so I have on occasions but not always been getting the message “ A required privilege is not held by the client” as screenshot below whenever Windows 10 Home launches.
Why and what does it refer to?

Run a online scanner as it wont be effected by any malware blocking the same Free Online Virus Scanner and Malware Scanner | ESET

To what extent does the onset of this problem match the date of the latest Cumulative update, KB5015807?

The cumulative update kb5015807 was installed on the 13/7/2022 and I've had this message pop up three times in separate occasions and yes after the cumulative update kb5015807 was installed but it does not pop up on every power on. Only on the odd occasion.

I cannot think of a logical response but, personally, I would:-
    - Run a full malware scan on one of those occasions when there was no error during bootup and/or using an online source such as Microsoft Safety Scanner
    - Check the OS disk for errors - Drive Error Checking - TenForumsTutorials
    - Run SFC [Option 3] and, if appropriate, the Dism command it provides in the notes at the end of Option 3 [which must be run whilst connected to the internet] - SFC-DISM - TenForumsTutorials and being careful to post any irreparable errors here using the guidance in Option5.
    - Repair install [aka In-place upgrade] Repair Install - TenForumsTutorials
    - - Despite its name is a repair procedure not an installation
    - - It does not affect your data or installed applications.
    - - I always make a new system image and back up my own files before running a Repair installation. This invariably turns out to be an unnecessary precaution.

    Best of luck,

Running Microsoft Safety Scanner at the moment it will take hours but well worth it.

I run Free Online Virus Scanner and Malware Scanner | ESET yesterday which found 11 PUPs I also run an automatic scan with Malwarebytes Premium on a schedule daily but did not find the threats I found with ESET or the 4 up to now with Microsoft Safety Scanner.

Can you point the safety scanner where you want or does it just target the running os?

Microsoft Safety Scanner can run Quick, Custom and Full scans. I suppose running a custom scan you could point it at what you want to scan. I am running a full scan which is scanning all four drives in my pc. It has been running for the last 7 hours and it has not finished yet!
Not sure about Free Online Virus Scanner and Malware Scanner | ESET I just run it as default.

After just over 8 hours scanning Microsoft Safety Scanner reported two threats, one was partially removed and one was removed.
I now have to wait to see if the “ A required privilege is not held by the client” reappears as it does not show on every power on.

The scan results indicate that threats were discovered within two of your downloaded installation files. No active malware was detected.
So there is no reason to expect your computer's behaviour to have changed.
