    How to Edit

Hi Folks, I have Dash Cam footage size 283MB 3 minutes long. The video file is in .MOV format. Any ideas how I can edit it to post on Facebook?

Hi, any decent video converter should be able to reduce that e.g.

After posting my thread, I extracted the file from my dashcam and found it displayed my car registration number, so I will leave it for now. Thanks.

The standard Windows 10 Video Editor app can do that

I have edited my video file using the Film & TV app in Win 10 but have not been able to remove my car's registration data.
Will try changing the settings in my dashcam.

Probably you can reduce size by using the MP4 carrier with the H.265 codec, webm (used by youtube) would also be a good choice but facebook doesn't seem to support it from what i looked up here. Usually a way to significantly reduce video size is to sacrifice resolution and \ or framerate.
