    Problem in run Sysprep tool on Windows 10


    Hi guys,

    I hope you are very well..

    I am trying to fix the problem by ways that are existing on the websites and I didn't find any solution so I hope to help me as attached.

    Hello, and welcome to Ten Forums =)

    I'm not sure if you are able to attach this file, but try to if possible:

    Open File Explorer, and go to: C:\Windows\System32\Sysprep\Panther\setupact.log
    and attach that file, depending on how big it is. (How big is that file?)

    Main issue that prevents sysprep completing in W10 are if you have any 3rd party MS Store apps due to provisioning.

    If I remember correctly, 3rd party apps are usually account based, not pc based (or maybe vice versa) but for some reason their presence upsets sysprep.

    Easiest thing to do is simply uninstall all 3rd party apps (not the MS default ones).

    Perhaps a more pertinent question is why are you sysprepping - Windows 10 is much better at handling changes of hardware rather than crappy old versions like Windows 7? I have not needed to use sysprep in years.

    I noticed the main problem is uninstall Windows Apps that are built-in on OS.

    If you want to remove apps like Office from the image, do it with Dism.

    Command for example (The path to the mounted image must of course be adapted to your environment.):
    Dism /Image:c:\mount /Remove-ProvisionedAppxPackage /PackageName:Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub_18.1903.1152.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe

    To list the apps from the image use this command:
    Dism /Image:c:\mount /Get-ProvisionedAppxPackages
