Back to Windows 10 and have some issues.

So I have had to reinstall Windows 10 recently after two years since Linux didn't work out for me. But now I have an issue where sometimes after resume from sleep the screen will be black. I don't know what's causing it. Its happened twice so far.

same thing happened to a pc at work , what the IT guys did in the end is to disable sleep , meaning it never goes to sleep ...
doesn't seem like a real solution to me , but ya

What do you do when the screen goes black? Do you have to force the computer to shut off in order to use the computer, for example?

Did you check Device manager to see if there is a yellow alert of missing drivers?

    Try:

    [CTRL+ALT+DEL]

If a page with options appears:

Hold down CTRL key and click on power icon on the bottom right.

    Choose the emergency restart option.

If no screen appears when pressing [CRTL+ALT+DEL] then really the only option is to hold down the power button until it shuts down.

Yes I have to force shutdown since no picture or screen is present when I resumed. Again it's only happened twice so far

You should install the newest version of graphic card driver from manufacturer website.

Does Reliability History have entries covering the problem and if so,then the ---view tech details ---should have information.
Have you had a look through the various power/hibernate options in Powershell [admin] >powercfg /help ---and the switches which might help in finding the problem ?
