No display or splash screen for BIOS

    Asus X570S Master

I can't seem to get into my bios. I don't get a splash screen but I can spam the DEL key and the Debug LED says I'm in there but I have no display output. I blindly hit F10 and enter then I'm in windows where I do have a screen now.

I reset the BIOS and that didn't work. I changed up my display cables, also didn't work.

I haven't changed anything, I didn't disable splash screen, and yes I did try to use advanced boot to change UEFI settings.

I am ready to update my BIOS if that's a simple fix, once I locate a flash drive.

Yes, I pressed DEL and F2 which are the two keys designated to my board. I managed to update the bios through the App Center utility but that didn't fix the issue.

I did a full shut down and even unplugged the tower for a few moments. Still no splash screen.

I've Also tried a TV, a new monitor, and an old monitor. No luck.

    I found this:
    (similar model version)

Can'''t enter bios on asus x570-e : ASUS

Try hooking up your monitor using an HDMI cable this way, if you haven't tried this method yet:
    1) Power down and unplug your computer from power.
    2) Connect an HDMI cable to your monitor and unplug Display Port (if that's connected)
    3) Let a few moments pass
    4) Start up the computer and see if you see the splash screen.

    That did it!

Shut down, Powered off, and unplugged for a minute the splash screen comes back but only that one time. Oh well, I did what I needed to do so I'm very happy.

Cool.. glad that "temporarily" solved it.
Keep note of this method you did just in case you want to access the BIOS again. Hopefully some future BIOS update will fix this issue. Who knows.
