How to bring back taskbar at the bottom of the screen

I deleted it by mistake when I tried to get rid of that highly annoying info display in the search bar. While I'm at it, not only would I like the task bar back but how do I get rid of this recent non asked for annoyance?

    Thank Your

    Hello @numbed79,

Try this: Settings > Personalization > Taskbar

See if the Taskbar is hidden or there is a setting that you can re-enable.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip. Went into settings and everything that should be on or off is in its proper setting. That includes "automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode."

    I suggest
    1 You unhide the taskbar
2 You turn off Search highlights - I think this is the annoyance you are talking about.

I suppose he could use the Windows flag on the keyboard.

I`ve never heard of anyone deleting their taskbar.

thats a good idea to, the start button probably isnt there either to go to control panel....DOH

or right click on desktop ▶ personalise ▶ taskbar.

but it appears they have been there already and found all in order, we were to late to the party
