    22H1 for Win 10?

Will there ever be a 22H1 or 22H2 for Windows 10 in the near/far future? What do you guys think? Microsoft can't be let us 10 users hanging on 21H2 right? RIGHT?

From what I've seen written there probably will be only one Version Upgrade per year and in the second half such as 22H2. And there will still be the periodic Build updates to that. And it will apply to both Win10 and Win11.

Well, as W10 is only security supported, why would there be any build upgrade unless the security upgrade requires a build upgrade. In the end, new features will only arise if MS can make money though advertising. This is why I have not installed the latest optional update.

MS may decide to release a new build onxe a year simply to ensure all users are up to date on security. I cannot see how the 18 month build life works after going to annual upgrades.

Windows 10 does not go EOL until 2025, so this, is simply BS. I regularly get a variety of updates for Win 10, on all five of my W10 machines, including but not limited to security updates, even as of today. And have this month finally gotten around to updating four client systems with feature and security updates after not doing so for like six months.

So, not sure where you got that idea from. BTW, longtime TH moderator, and deal with this on a regular basis. Yes, necro, but warranted.

WTF are you crapping on about. EOL means you get security updates, but virtually no feature updates from now on.

Feature updates are very limited and mostly to get more advertising revenue.

BTW; I have been using Windows since before you were born, so do not crap me about your experience LOL.

The Windows 10 22H2 Feature Update will be released in October.

...for customers who are using a device that is not eligible for Windows 11, Windows 10 is a great place to be. Windows 10 will be serviced through Oct. 14, 2025 and we have announced that the next feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2, is coming next month, continuing to offer you both support and choice with Windows.

And the actual announced date of EOL for Win10 is Oct. 14, 2025, those three years are sufficient time to save up to get a new computer that will properly meet the requirements of Win11. But Win12 may be out before that time ends. Because none of my computers meet Win11 but are fine on Win10 and since I need to see what my clients may be getting into I decided to first get a new Notebook in Oct., [did have to set up 2 Win11 before Christmas] then in April got a new Desktop.
