Did you run REG commands like the following?I have not tried them, but I assume they will do the same things.Code:Set "[Key]=HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig" (REG Add "%[Key]%" /V "BypassCPUCheck" /T REG_DWORD /D "1" /F) (REG Add "%[Key]%" /V "BypassDiskCheck" /T REG_DWORD /D "1" /F) (REG Add "%[Key]%" /V "BypassRAMCheck" /T REG_DWORD /D "1" /F) (REG Add "%[Key]%" /V "BypassSecureBootCheck" /T REG_DWORD /D "1" /F) (REG Add "%[Key]%" /V "BypassStorageCheck" /T REG_DWORD /D "1" /F) (REG Add "%[Key]%" /V "BypassTPMCheck" /T REG_DWORD /D "1" /F)
No I navigated to LabConfig key and modified values in registry editor by hand.
when you type regedit into console registry editor opens during setup.
but I only modified BypassTPMCheck because I don't have TPM, others likely work too.
I just wanted to take an extra moment and thank some folks in this thread, because if I hadn't of read it and been wrong with my feedback, I never would have thought I could install Windows 11 on this computer listed in "My Computer".
@x509
Firstly, Thanks Again for starting this thread and your kind words to all those on here that are above brilliant.
@Try3
Thank you for correcting me on quite a few things and not just in this thread! Your installation procedure did bypass all restrictions placed on my system and Windows 11 installed without a hitch!
Thank you very much again for sharing!
@Bree
You were right as usual again, and since you stated that if you could install Windows 11 on that computer you listed above, I decided to give it a try...............of course only after backing up with Macrium. I just could've sworn that my processor would never handle Windows 11; but it does.
@Matthew Wai
I understand what you mean now about Microsoft probably purposefully leaving a back door open for all to try Windows 11; well, at least on far below spec computers. I was just a nonbeliever, until I tried myself to install Windows 11.
And you can dispense with the need to edit your posted WinVer diagrams by removing that useless bit of private data instead.
For example,
See this TenForumsTutorial despite your having changed to Win11 - the same procedure works on both versions.

Woops - the ElevenForumTutorial has now been published

I've never seen any app try to make use of the entries there so I don't bother being sensible about them.
All the best,
