    Red circle with white minus sign on some desktop Icons


    From Google its something to do with One Drive. Whatever that is and I don't think I have it.
    How can I remove these red things please?

    Thanks... found If you see a red "no entry" style icon over your OneDrive icon, it means your account is blocked.
    I don't have a OneDrive Accout that I know of.... now they've have changed to a X (no red though, just transparent).
    Later: found they vanish if you Refresh the desktop.

    OneDrive is a part of Windows 10 and 11. If you are not using OneDrive, we suggest you Uninstall it

a little white box has appeared on my desktop in my icons. When I click on an icon the box ticks but I have to tick again to open the link. Its a minor annoyance, but how do I get rid? I think it might have been something to do with winaerotweak but...

OK, I just redid windows 10, installed most of my programs, why are there white icons on the desktop? I have 13 icons, 10 are white, is it a corrupt file somewhere? I thought I would have a like new laptop when I did this but far from it, nothing...
220287 Apologies if this topic has been discussed -- can't find it in Search. How can I get rid of the border?
Just noticed my notification icon has changed and now has a little minus sign in the bottom right corner of it. What does this mean? I have most app notifications set to "on" only mail and onedrive are selected to be off.
Until yesterday everything was working fine. This night I shutdown my computer and this morning, when I started it up, I noticed the icons of my dekstop in the default location and with the default dimensions. I repositioned them , I changed icon...
