Unexpected download

Windows 10 Home 64 bit Version 21H2.
I am a member of a keyboard forum where we post music that we record ourselves.To make sure that
it plays back ok we simply click on the song and it will play.For some unknown reason(to me) when I now click
on the song the download box appears and downloads the song and it won`t play until I click the download box.
I have tried different browsers and different playback programmes but no luck.The recorded playbacks are Mp3.
Can anyone help?

Just for fun, I clicked on the link above and Firefox popped up a 'download blocked' box as it considers it unsafe, for some reason. Firefox stopped it before Norton, which usually catches 'bad sites'. Clicking the arrow (greather than symbol) on the right of the popup offered to download or delete the file. So, perhaps, it's a matter of your browser choosing what to do, for whatever reason.

I tried the link, download blocked as unsafe. Went to synthzone.com which was also blocked. It has a security certificate issue. I ignored the unsafe message and got the link to email your webmaster. I suggest you wait for synthzone to resolve it's certificate issue or host your files on Onedrive, Google Drive or any number of common hosts. Here are the screens incl one to your file-

Looks like I`m not going to have much luck with this one.I doubt if synthzone even know there is a security certificate issue
as "nigelsp.synthzone.com"refers to Nigel Spencer who created the site 20 odd years ago and passed away last year.I will
ask other members to post songs to see if the same thing happens with theirs.Thanks again for your replies.
