Need help reinstalling this driver Intel Active Management Technology

Hello,

I been on Google for 2 hours... I've just started getting this error like a week ago.

I have no idea how this file could have got removed. Intel Active Management Technology Local Manageability Service is failing a.k.a LMS.exe not running. (I dbl. checked in task Manger also). Keep getting these events in my viewer.

Things I've tried:

-sfc/ scannow - no issues

-Ran Intel driver & Support Assistant - All updated.

-Went to Dells support entered service tag. Did a search for "Intel Management" Drivers. Only one that comes up that is close is. Intel-Management-Engine-Components ( I don't believe this will help this issue)

-Went to Intel's site did a search for Intel Active Management Technology Local Manageability Service. I couldn't narrow it down, or maybe entering in wrong keywords.

Can anyone point me to what I need?

Seems like something that would be worse than useless on a home PC. I suppose that a corporate IT department might require it.

If you don't need, or want, it, it may be possible to disable AMT in the BIOS settings.

Thanks I checked out the link, but I don't want to mess with that BIOS setting. There has to be a driver i'm thinking anyway. Or I could just turn the automatic startup type to manual. I don't think it hurting anything but annoying to see this keep coming up in EV

It was fixed by installing the new version in case anyone else comes across it.
