    This would be my assumption also. An extension can be shared, but its much easier to share a link. With the actual extension, you have to locate the download, send it, hope it doesnt get eaten by a virus scan and then the user has to know what to do with it.

    A link takes them to the source where they can click to install

hlp extension

I have program that works with the .hlp extenion (Windows 7 version). It won't work on Windows 10 .hlp extention. Is there a way I can add a new extention that will run the Windows 7 version? I could upload the file if I knew how. Don Cole
If I use F2 on a selected file, the extension is not included. Is this new to Win 10? (I've come straight from 15 year with XP.) Is there a setting or a reliable registry hack I can apply to get back to what I consider 'normal' operation please?...
