Change Language - Single Language License

    I don't have Windows 10 version number.

I have a machine which shows two languages in the preferred language list. Spanish - Mexican and English Canada. English Canada is at top of list.

In the drop down for Windows Display language it only has Mexican. The drop down arrow head is there but no options below.

This is one of those licenses that says your license only supports one language.

How might I change this to be only English and eliminate the Spanish - Mexican?

I read a number of Internet articles and they seem to be very mixed results. If a clean install is a sure thing I can propose that to the owner.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Andre. Saw that answer. As I really can't run Macrium, language and time limits, wanted more sure thing.

I'm guessing, from researching further, that even a clean install won't work. The language is "locked" to license to prevent machines being bought in cheaper regions from being imported to more expensive markets. They said it was in English and switched back to Mexican. My theory would be it did a version update and registry was reset.

Turns out just having browser in English is good enough. I did this and the owner is happy. Marked this solved and while I did not actually change Windows language others will find Andre's post.
