How to copy a external HDD without waiting for HOURS?

Just how do I do that, because well... one TB drive and one 360 GB drive transporting data to a new drive is rather slow. How can I speed up things?

    Hi @RingTailCoon

Generally speaking, the speed of transfer depends on how fast your drives are, and since yours are both HDDs, this length of transfer can’t be easily impacted.

Nopes, Disk Copy from EaseUs also grabs USB devices. So I can plug in an old external HDD and clone all the stuff to the new external HDD.

    Hello @RingTailCoon,

Other than breaking up the coping into smaller blocks [ Directories, Folders, etc ], have you considered XCopy or RoboCopy?

Here are just a couple of links that might help . . .

    > RoboCopy
    > RoboCopy

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,
I'm sure any system imaging/ cloning utility can do that reflect/...

You were talking about speeding things up and internal is about all that's going to do that bit.
