Dell Optiplex 755 Upgrade (Core2Quad Q9400, SSD and more) - YouTube

Unless you are planning to buy a new PC, it's worth it.

It will boot faster, load apps faster, and install updates faster.

    It's not hard to do.

You can use Macrium Reflect Free to make an image of the HDD and restore it to the new SSD.

It is not hard. You could just migrate the os using diskgenius free version and cut out the intermediate step of making an image.

    Timmy,
Macrium Reflect Free can also clone disks without making any intermediate images. Nothing special about DiskGenius in that regard.

If you're running Windows 10, it is definitely worth upgrading from a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to a Solid State Drive (SSD). When Windows 10 first came out, my father's PC was running Windows 7 with a HDD. He upgraded to Windows 10, and he noticed a huge difference of speed. Windows 10 loaded slower than Windows 7. We decided to upgrade the HDD to an SSD. We made an exact copy of all the files from the HDD to the SSD.
Yet do be careful, from what I can recall, there was some strange option in the BIOS that we had to change, for the SSD to work. I found this solution after much research on the internet. I don't remember the specifics of it.
If you do a clean install of Windows 10 onto an SSD, then you shouldn't run into any problems.
