Windows Bug ??Task Manager "'Processes" tab is empty

    Hello,
In the recent weeks, I have been experiencing the issue ONLY in the "Processes" tab under the task manager, noticed the blank canvas without the listing of the programs, it leads me to think that it must have been with recent update. The only method I came to found for troubleshooting is to restart it.

I am sorry if the topic is a re-post, However I am unable to f Much appreciated!

    Hi mik07
Dowload & install AnVir Task Manager Free,it has a lot of funtions and see the processes, startups etc
If processes are available there then something is wrong with taskexplorer
You can also download Tweakpower , it is also a powerfull multipurpose program

I have this exact problem also.

I tried the AnVir Task Manager and I do like it. I also use System Explorer and Process Explorer along with more SysInternals.

At least I can see what's running with these other apps.

Hi, you will probably find that if you create a new account (for test purposes) and log into that the task manager behaves normally.

You can also try booting to Safe Mode using your present account and check there.

If so, return to your present account and try a clean boot. If the task manager then works normally you have a basis to work from.

Note: typically where this is reported, general repairs using SFC, DISM etc do not help. And that will certainly be true if the problem is specific to a particular user profile.
