The only thing that can prevent you from renaming said folder (just as any other folder) is the lack of permissions. If you are running an administrator account you can always take ownership of the folder and change permissions. Many people will justifiably advise caution since this way you can damage the OS itself. However, in your particular case, the folder you want to rename is not a system folder. If anything goes wrong you can simply reinstall the program. However, if you are having trouble renaming the folder, I would advise simply reinstalling the program (just back up your files or move them to some other place so that they will not be affected in the process) which should solve your problem.

I do not know what you are saying.
Getting there by pasting the folder address into the File explorer address bar is just as valid a way of getting there as any other.
Why are you saying that you cannot access the folder/file when your diagrams show that you can get there?
What happens when you try to do what you want [folder renaming]?

Thanks for your attempt at helping. I finally was able to get to the file needed in File Explorer. FYI - the route specified (C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData) yields the clickables shown in my image - the ones starting with "Index of...." AFAIK you can't rename from there. Right-clicking doesn't offer that option.

Then the folder Permissions are stopping you.
Then try to rename it in an Admin command prompt. Get there using
CD /D "path to the folder"
    then use the ren command
ren "name of folder/file" "new name of folder/file"

If that doesn't get accepted then you can
    either
    change the Permissions
    or
boot from your install USB and use its command prompt to do the renaming so bypassing Windows' Permissions
Use InstallUSB Notepad as a rudimentary File explorer to backup files [post #33] - TenForums
