there are some weird things showing in the event viewer

i have an alienware 17 r5 laptop and i am running windows 10 build 2004. i disabled fast startup in the power options

yesterday night at 10:30pm i closed the laptop lid and it went to sleep. today morning at around 7am i opened the laptop lid. the laptop lights came on but the screen stayed off and the laptop didnt wake up from sleep. i closed the laptop lid. the laptop didnt go back to sleep so i opened the laptop lid and i did force shutdown and i switched on the laptop. it's working fine. it looks like a windows bug prevented the laptop from waking up

i checked the event viewer for event id 6008 which means improper shutdown. that event was logged at around 7:30am but in the description it said that the improper shutdown happen at 10:01pm yesterday night. that's wrong and it didn't happen at that time. i have a few more event id 6008 which happened in the past. the improper shutdown time in the description is correct

also normally if i close the laptop lid and the laptop sleeps then an event id 42 is logged in the event viewer when the laptop goes to sleep. there is no event id 42 for when i closed the laptop lid last night at 10:30pm

is the missing event id 42 for closing the laptop lid last night and the incorrect shutdown time in the description due to that windows bug which prevented the laptop from waking up?

In either Powershell or Command, run as administratoe, type in ---powercfg /help ---which will bring up a comprehensive list of modes to use,
I do not use them ,only "on " or "off "so cannot suggest which is appropriate for you.
Also, check with Reliability History and see if there are flagged entries related to the the problem. If so,then "view tech details " might give useful information in lines 1 - 3.
