I still think the name change was stupid. I hope the OS isn't equally stupid but, with the eash of stupid decisions M$ has been making the last few years, I'm not holding my breath. I would love to be pleasantly surprised, though.

Why is the change stupid? Microsoft is finally trying something new, innovative - Windows 10 is supposed to be a new start and Windows OS future. I understand that most people aren't keen to trust Microsoft after disappointment with Windows 8 and other Microsoft fails or hickups in the past, but the way they've presented new Windows today, I honestly believe things are going to change!
Whatever it's called there will always be someone who wants to bash it just because it's Microsoft.![]()
The keynote video Microsoft posted is a very good watch. Honestly, this version of Windows I believe is going to be the best and overtake 7 as current best. It's similar to what the process was with 7, taking in a LOT of feedback from the mess called vista and reformed it to something great. 10 will be taking a TON of input and feedback to strike the right balance between current Windows 7 users and 8 users so EVERYONE will be happy.
But as always, trolls will always be in the dungeons ready to troll. Windows X might just make trolls happy too.
