Automatically turn on Focus Assist when a specific program runs?

How do I automatically turn on Focus Assist when a specific program runs?
    I'm using Windows 10 21H2

In my instance every time I open Debut screen capture software, I want Focus Assist to automatically turn on.

Hi, you would need to identify a programmatic way to enable focus assist. I can't see a command line option for that, and the screens don't lend themselves to being manipulated by Autohotkey, for example.

Given the first, it should then be easy enough to do that with a simple Autohotkey script.

What's the problem you're trying to solve? For example, would a screen capture program capable of being kept 'on top' help, or are there notifications appearing which you don't want?

I don't want to see notifications from Firefox, Brave, Discord, Telegram, Guilded, and Element etc while I'm using Debut to record my screen to generate a video, especially if I'm recording a full screen video as the notification will appear on top of the video.

    Hi desbest

You would think that it should be a simple task to auto-launch focus assist whenever we start a specific app, I know I'd appreciate the feature.
Too bad M$ didn't build that in.

I have mine set to on while duplicating the display & while in full screen mode. That satisfies most occasions for myself.

I did find directions to use AutoHotkey to make a toggle switch, if that is your preference.

    Thank you for your reply.

Why not disable Notifications in Settings?

And there's a focus assist control in the Action Centre:
