    Where Am I Question

    According to my VPN, I'm in New Jersey, which is close to where I really am. But according to "Where Am I Now?" and a few other "where am I" apps, I'm in the U.K. Even in code on my computer like this:

    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html>
    <body>
    <h1>Hello Web Pages</h1>
    <p>The time is @DateTime.Now</p>
    </body>
    </html>

    GIves me UK time. Why the difference?

    GMT or UTC has zero to do with the UK. A VPN uses a synthetic location by what VPN relay is reporting your location when a IP location is made. VPN Relay vs physical computer have zero to do with the other.

    Yes, we all know that GMT and UTC and the UK are different. That big square at the bottom right ("news feed" or something), said I was in some English town.

    I think this is just something that occurs with the VPN.
