Thanks for the update. Had you rebooted after your very first attempt? Wondering if that was a factor ...... anyway enjoy your clean log

Considering it's for MBAM, the event is most likely protected and will not be allowed access to delete.

Thank you Brink. That is what I was getting, and that makes sense. But it is gone now.

    I appreciate your time.

    Marking as 'Solved'.

Yes, I did reboot after the first attempt.

Just some weird glitch, I suppose.

    All good now.

    Take care, buddy.

    For what it's worth...

I took the precaution of 'deactivating', and completely uninstalling Malwarebytes. Because of the initial 'Malwarebytes Tray Application, had stopped working', flag.

Then cleanly and completely, reinstalled. (I personally, wouldn't be without it).

Hopefully, that will take care of whatever caused the stoppage, to begin with.

I have the free version installed and haven't encountered any issue like you described. Do you have the free or paid version? I wouldn't be without it or Macrium Reflect either

Yes, it's odd. Although, I have noticed it a couple times before (the flag, in event viewer). Very rare.

    I have the Premium version.

You get this error when Malwarebytes updates its version.
It will be cleared if you run disk cleanup.
