I purchased a used Dell PC . I shut down the PC each night just before bed. At 3:00am every morning from Monday thru Friday, the PC powers up. But does not power up at 3:00am on Saturday + Sunday. I would like a solution to disable this from powering up at 3:00am. I have tried all the usual suspects and nothing works. The PC was formerly owned by a school board. Edition Windows 10 Pro, Any ideas?

Windows system,
Control panel,
[View by - Small icons, just so you can see everything],
Security and Maintenance,
Maintenance - click on dropdown arrow,
Automatic maintenance - click on Change maintenance settings,
Clear the checkbox for Allow scheduled maintenance to wake my computer.
You might also wish to alter the time to something more appropriate.

Hello – thank you for your input. I did some more searches on the net and came up with the solution. In the UEFI Firmware, there is a feature called “auto on time”. I did the following to disable the PC from powering on at 3am:
Start/Settings/Update & Security/Recovery/Advanced startup/Restart now/Troubleshoot/Advanced options/UEFI Firmware Settings/Restart
go to UEFI Firmware – settings - power management - “auto on time” - select disable
