recovery

what happened to recovery? i do not see it anymore. now when i do a search i open a new tab and type something and yahoo shows up with a big-screen picture and then in the new search box what i typed is there and i have to click that again. this started a few days ago. so i figured i have some settings checked and it would be faster to just do a recovery than search for that.

also now for the default search engine i can't change the settings. i can add but when i try to edit the save goes dark and i get locked out fo the change.

so do i have to now do a complete recovery?

i'm trying to attach a photo to show you what i get now.

no not a browser i use chrome but for the search engine i was using yahoo and now it will not let me use yahoo but i get the yahoo main page, last week i could type in the top search box and i would get a list of possibilities and i could pick. now i get yahoo's main page with their huge picture and then what i picked shows up in another search box and i have to click again on that to continue, so i was going to try a recovery and see if that took out whatever got hijacked in my settings. i figured that would be way faster but now in the recover settings, i do not get that option anymore.

maybe i can insert a photo of the yahoo page i got now. it is now like i have to do 2 steps instead of one. and then maybe i can add the search engine shot to show what i'm up against.

seems i can't upload the screenshot into the attachments anymore. i have a bunch there how in the world can i delete all of them i do not need now? thanks

ok i will go to the mail page log out and re log in and see if it works. i may have stared on an old thread i had going on. thanks

ok i had a thread going on but was havng issues getting an attachment in to show you what is making me want to try a recovery.

it seems my search engine has changed and now when i create a new tab and type in the top search bar field i used to get a list of items to choose form. now i get yahoos main page with a huge photo and the item i picked to open shows up in a new search field in the middle of that picture. so i figured a recover may fix it but in my setting i do not have the orl recover but now it wants to do a restore to the program. so did the old recover go away.

let me try to insert a snip again. and see if it works. i did a cntl prtsc first and hit submit. if it fails to show then i will try to snip it. in attachments if that fails i will try insert img. thanks.

forget it it seems i can't get a photo so i will just do a restore and reset it all again this is getting old. thanks

i reset the pc and it still happened. so i will just use google from now on thanks
