    I cant switch out of S mode because there is no admin on my laptop


    I got a new HP pavilion 360 Windows 10 home and it has S mode so I tried to switch out of it then I pressed get but it asked for admin and the yes is missing only a no Pls help me I've been looking for a solution for weeks

    Yes i have


    I have already tried many methods but I cant open command prompt or PowerShell because of S mode so I cant enable hidden admin and my laptop is windows 10 Home and I don't have admin so I cant switch out of S mode

    If you can't open a command prompt while signed in, then Option Five in the tutorial is the one to use. You can get a command prompt by booting from an install usb.

    @Bree How can I get this USB and how can I use it if you don't mind me asking. And also I don't want to hard reboot it

    Use the Media Creation Tool to make one. See this tutorial.

    Do you mean that it shows this?

    - No request for an Admin's name & password?
    - Greyed out Yes button?

    If so, use this procedure [it was written for the condition you have found yourself in]
    Fix UAC prompt has greyed out or missing Yes button - TenForumsTutorials

    Thanks but it doesnt work


    @Bree I cant download the software to get the USB because I need Administrator access to download it and I don't have administrator

    You can but you do not need to***. You can fix the problem in Safe mode using the tutorial I linked you to [post #7]. I think you will be the first S Mode user to use the procedure so do post back here about any problems you get.

    *** Download the ISO file using one of the other options such as TechBench, format a USB, mount the ISO, copy its contents to the USB.
