    Most recent tutorial to customize the File explorer


    Windows 10 Pro - 21H1 - 19043.1387 - Install date: 2021-‎11-‎24 - Win Exp Pack 120.2212.3920.0

    There are several issues with this version of Windows file explorer. Previous tutorials don't work and I ended up making a mess of things.

    Quick Access was removed with a registry hack. and aware that the column order settings in a library are not permanent.
    My defaults are always the General folder view, and display the columns as Name, Size, Type, Date. It is set as I always have, but, it doesn't stick.

    You could also try WinSetView. It will definitely make your File Explorer view settings stick.
