CCleaner has totally altered my system

    W10 Ver 20H2 Build 19042.1348
I have, and use, CCleaner (free).
Then along comes this 14 day trial to allow the updating of out of date drivers.
Blimmin' heck! That was the start of all my troubles and l wish l hadn't done it, but then hey ho.
All my desktop icons became extra large and plastered all over the place, no tool bars were visible in any applications opened, and all text fonts had now been changed.
Just about managed to do a restore from a previous restore point which has at least sort of got me back up and working.
However, nothing is now the same.
Whatever application l now use, everything is just sort of "big" and the text stands out somewhat (not bold by the way).
For example, l have entered your site via Firefox......
My bookmarks are a tad on the large side font wise, as are all of YOUR forum headings
Small icons/fonts are not there anymore, my task bar is larger than norm, and again, its fonts have changed in size.
Whilst not pulling out the sympathy card here, l'm 68 and my partner is 79.
With no experience of what to do apart from the basics, we have not got a scooby doo of how to fix this.
Is there a way to change everything globally in W10?

Open Device Manager. Is there any yellow alerts of missing drivers?

As stated, Press the Windows key+X and choose Device Manager, are there any devices with a Yellow Flag? Expand Display, what is listed there? You can right click the Display Adapter, choose Properties/Drivers/Roll Back Driver.
Right click the Desktop choose Display Settings. Adjust the Resolution to the recommended settings or to your liking. Go to Scaling and Layout set it to 100%

CCleaner should show which drivers it updated & allow you to roll it back.
I’d be suspecting CCleaner has deleted the graphics driver but failed to install the new one or has installed an incorrect driver.

Another vote for bad graphics drive. Most members here, including myself, do not recommend the use of any third party drivers updates programs.
