Boot drive died, can't access files from 2nd drive but folder locked

My kids boot drive died but I had her Minecraft worlds saved on a 2nd hard drive. I moved the drive into a different computer, but when I try to move the folder to a different location, I get a message that my organization will not allow me to move it. The folder has a padlock on it. I added the "Take Ownership" to the right click menu and the process seems to work when I select it but the padlock stays and I still can't move the folder. One thing I'm not sure about is that the original computer was Windows 10 Pro and the current computer is Windows 10 Home. Would that cause a problem? If not, any ideas on what I should try next? She has put a lot of time into some of these worlds and would really like to retrieve them if I can. Thanks

It may be possible to boot using Ubuntu / Linux and backup up any unencrypted files:

You cannot move a Game or App from the Program Files or Program Files (x86) because the Game or App is installed in several files including the Windows Registry. If you are successful in moving the Folder, the Game will probably not work. You can try moving it as stated with a Linux Distro on a USB Flash drive.
Once you have installed Windows to a new drive, you can download Minecraft and you can browse it to the Game Saves on the Data drive.

I'm not actually trying to move the game to a new location or drive. It is just the folder where the Minecraft maps are saved and is separate from the game. I've done this several times before with no problems but that was when I was moving them from a functioning system to another. I had a small SSD for the boot and had the maps saved on a different HDD. I put the HDD into a different system but Windows will not let me copy or move them to a different location. I get the "organization will not allow me to move it" with a padlock on the folder. I thought taking ownership would work but I still can't move the folder. I'll give booting a try. I have very little experience with it though.

I'll give it a try. I should add that what I did several years ago when setting this up was move the location where apps from the Window Store were install. I found a thread where some people had similar issues but were not trying to copy data over but couldn't get access to delete the folder. When changing the default location of Store apps, folders named WindowsApps and WpSystem are created on the new drive. The original guide and discussion is here Change Save Location for New Apps in Windows 10 | Tutorials (tenforums.com) I guess my point is that I think the Windows Store connection is making this more complicated than I was expecting it to be and was an important piece of information that I didn't mention before since I had forgot how I set it up since it was so long ago. Thanks

The permissions seem to show that almost anyone whould have full read access - when you talk about the problem, you mention both copy and move, but only 'move' in your first post. What error do you get when you try to copy ? I would not expect a 'cannot move' error message.

The message I get if I try to move, cut, or copy is "Your organization does not allow you to place this file here". I think there may be some DRM potentially since the game was from the Windows Store. The worlds she created shouldn't need to be protected but are in a subfolder of one that is? There was an option to move the default location for store apps in Windows 10 to a different drive. The full path to the location is
WpSystem\S-1-5-21-2635837556-3981980056-671124342-002 \AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang This path is where I have found the minecraft worlds in the past other than the 2nd level with all of the numbers. Sorry I didn't include more information at the start. I really thought I was just missing something on permissions and forgot about the Windows Store connection
