    File Explorer, drives missing from navigation pane

    After Windows monthly update of 11/14 all drives are missing from the navigation pane. Instead, all of Control Panel listings do
    appear in that pane. How to fix? HP desktop, Windows 10, v. 21H2, build 19043.1348, Edge browser 96.0.1054.29.

    Hi, how do you fix that? Unsure, to be honest- not heard of such a thing related to an update.

    I guess you mean the 14th of November... (14/11 here). As you have build 1348 I guess you mean KB5007186.

    To return to your previous state when your Nav pane looked normal you could try:
    a. Uninstalling that update
    b. Using an appropriate System Restore point, assuming you have one.

    As to why your Nav Pane has been affected - no idea. Even if it's normal again after the above, if the update is reapplied there's the possibility the same thing will happen.

    Please post a screenshot of what you see before and after thus:

    Just for reference - from the News section;
    KB5007186 Windows 10 2004 19041.1348, 20H2 19042.1348, 21H1 19043.1348
