Win 10 pro crashes - no bsod

I think i may have already answered my own question, but i will describe whats happening and what i've done and see if you guys agree or not.

machine has started randomly crashing, no bsod, its like someone is turning the power off, it does boot again, and may be good for 5 mins or a few hours then crashes again.
Event ID 41 - kernal power.

I have replaced the original dell psu, checked, cleaned and reseated the memory, cpu and power plugs, all is clean and tight.
my guess is the motherboard is faulty.

    any help is appreciated.

    Machine: DELL XPS 8700
    Windows version number: 21H2
    Build number: 19043.1348

Look in Reliability History and see if there are entries covering the crashes.
If so,then lines 1 & 2 in---view tech details---- will give usable information.
Also try ---dxdiag---for any reports and in the Display page, note the driver details, visit the maker's site only and download that driver,or later if available,
Select Display Adapter in Device Manager and uninstall the present driver and insall the new one.

It may be crashing by CPU over temperature. Is your CPU heat sink clean? Is the fan running?

CPU temp is fine, and as per my original post, i have cleaned and reseated everything on the board.

in reliability history, the shutdowns were "hardware" related, so the board is faulty, as i have tested all the components in another system, and they are known to be good.

    I had a 3rd gen i5 and a Gigabyte Z87 MB.
Three years from now it began to shutdown by it's own. Began once a week, then once a day, and finished on a way you couldn't boot.
I replaced the MB and the new system is working perfect till now.

ok so i borrowed another MB and have tested again, rock solid and reliable, i tortured it with sandra for 3hrs, and it didn't faulter once, so i definately know its the MB.

Funnily enough, 2 of our office HP's have started doing the same thing.

Does the MB smell as it has something that has burned?
Mine did but I couldn't identify from where it was coming from

No, no burnt smell although there was some discolouring and dry solder joints near the cpu socket.
