cant change time settings (windows 10)

Bought my computer around a year ago. But for some reason my computers time has never been right even when I set it to my time zone. Looked into solutions and found that I cant change any settings in the Windows Time Properties. Most settings are grayed out. Been causing many issues playing games on steam as well as some websites.. Any ideas? Thanks for your time!

My Windows Time service is set to Manual (Trigger start) and isn't running except when it needs to do a time sync.

What happens when you click "Update now" button as shown in the tutorial?

Did you try with server time.windows.com selected from pull-down?

time.nist.gov is not working for me, so I wouldn't use that one right now. time.google.com works.

Look in Event Viewer under the Applications and Services Log\Microsoft\Windows\Time-Service\Operational channel for error messages.

Are the option in your service manager are all greyed out like SS in Op ?

This is the symptom of the crashed time service. I think there are 2 other threads like that at the moment here on TF.

Easy to test, from an admin prompt:
    Code:
    net start w32time
    net stop w32time
if it doesn't start and stop... It's crashed.
