booting a system with 2 EFI partitions

    Once you copy the data, why can't you install the software to the more powerful computer?
    If you need the product key, you can use a program like Belarc Advisor which will tell you all of your product keys.

    Oh don't get me started lol. Most of the music stuff nowadays requires activation and is often limited to 3 to 5 lifetime activations. I've already lost a couple of licences messin with this PC Grrr! ;-)

    I assume you are talking about a DAW? What app are you using? You may contact their support and explain that you are using the same computer and had to do a clean install, they may forgive the restriction and let you reinstall for free.

    I think those that use iLok will be okay It's the lite versions of ableton and cubase that may be an issue I drop them an email and see what they say. Plugin Guru's Unify is the main one that bothers but he seems a genuine guy so hopefully he will understand.

    I use Ableton, I have had no issues reinstalling that, Cubase should be the same. IDK about Unify
