    Back to W 10

I just installed W11 and I do not like it. How do I get back to W10?

Right-click the start button, click "Settings", "Windows Update", click "Update History", scroll down and click "Recovery Options", and in the "Go Back" box , click the "Go Back" button.

Use a system image backup if you have one.

    Just to check: did you..
    - Upgrade as a non-Insider (ordinary user)?
    or
    - Clean install Win 11?

True.. so? Still could have been an insider upgrade or a clean install... point is there's no background (history) to the original enquiry, so responses are guesswork.

I don/t know the diff. I installed it from online "download now" from Microsoft.
I downloaded it yesterday. It was easy. But maybe I will keep it temporarily. It is growing on me, actually.

I had problem downsizing taskbar. Screen sharing remote assistance from MS solved it. But I wish I still could do it myself the way it was with W10. The agent assured me it will be done wit oncoming updates. Expect lots of them as W11 is still very young.

After a few days with W11, I decided I want back to W10. Will I be able to upgrade again to W11 maybe next year when W11 is no longer beta-like?

Indeed. Meanwhile there are ways should you wish to to ensure you're not offered it, which a little research should reveal - the simplest being simply to ignore any such offer.

Made a solid Macrium-backup first , installed 11 , used it two days , very dissapointed .............back to 10 , in a few minutes !
Worst in 11 is : lost all my 10-tweaks , contextmenu , settings , folders , etc. etc.
So you have to do these things all over again , while its just not worth the time and the stress..............
