    Windows 10 opening scenic window

After the PC comes up in Windows 10, how come most of the time this scene window comes up just in the clear, but eventually comes up with the screen areas you can click on to find out, for example, where the scene is. However there have been times when these click areas don't ever show . . . then the picture is gone after afew weeks.
I have tried to click "blindly" on the picture and that sometimes brings up the click points, but not always.
How can I call for the info stuff to come up sooner, or come up everytime the picture shows ???

Hello. It's in Settings, Personalisation, Lock Screen (in the left hand menu). Then just down the page there's a switch for "Get fun facts, tips, tricks and more on your lock screen".

Sometimes you just have to wait a few seconds. It's easy to see the lock screen and immediately dismiss it without that being displayed. Perhaps the delay requires server interaction via the internet.... I don't know.

Note that if you re-register Spotlight, in my experience it can take a few days before it actually starts working again.

That option doesn't appear if Windows Spotlight is selected as lock screen background, and Windows Spotlight images are being discussed here.

Thanks to all . . . but the things you talk about and show, don't show in my Windows 10, version 20H2 ?

I wish there was a, like pointed out by someone here, . . . TO GET FUN FACTS thing ,a box . . . to simply check.

When I go the settings, personalzation, lock screen . . . background. I see a number of + ( plus signs ) that I guess in Windows World means ( to add ) . . . yet when I press on the + sign I get stuff like . . . ZAPPO.COM , 3D READER, INSTEON FOR HUB, AOL VIDEO ,etc., etc. to choose from. The things that come up in my opinion have no connection with "see words on the screen while picture is up " !!! None of them are in use now on my PC ,none added.
As before, why isn't there simply a check box that says, like someone pointed out . . . TO GET FUN FACTS , check box, I don't have that showing on my PC ???
This did work . . . OK in the past ,there was a delay and I learned how to get around it ,to use it. But now ,I get no text on screen no matter how long I wait or what I do . . . just a picture.
So I end up putting in my password and using the PC . . . never knowing "where the heck was that picture " taken ???

Perhaps you could post a screenshot of what puzzles you in Settings so we can readily compare. Thanks.

I just found a setting that got me the GET FUN FACTS,TIPS,etc. choice ... ON / OFF. I may have overlooked it but hopefully by doing this it works, I may had the wrong thing chosen in Background. I am abit concerned that what I did might keep the same picture up forever ( unless I change it ), in the past the picture came up with FUN FACTS,etc ,then after abit a new picture showed with FUN FACTS, etc. I'll see how it works now.
    again Thanks to all.

Fun facts etc. are not connected with any picture.

Your picture will not change if you no longer have Windows Spotlight selected.

The "fun facts" option does not appear if do have Windows Spotlight selected.

Spotlight does seem to be a bit erratic in showing these links when you first start up the PC. Where is seems completely consistent is when you have Spotilght as your lock screen and you use WinKey+L to lock the PC. That's what I do if I want to find out more about any particular picture. Just hover over 'Like what you see?' to find out where it's from.
