Taskbar quick launcher is knocked out by the keyboard lang indicator

Ever since I activated the taskbar keyboard layout selector, it knocks out the Quick launcher menu on startup. I need both. Any possible solutions?

Hi, I guess you're referring to the Input Indicator:

    and the Quick Launch toolbar:

As you can see I have both shown, and they survive log off/on.

If you have a problem with yours, possible workarounds are:
    a. Don't show the language indicator at all- simply use Win key + SPACE to select your keyboard layout.
    b. Use an alternative to Quick Launch.

    A starting point for analysis:
Create a new user for test purposes. Log in as that user. Do you experience the same problem?

Here's how I created the Quick Launch toolbar:

Hi, and thanks again for the in depth coverage. It also tells me that I've done most of the homework. Our settings are the same, but that is not the problem. The loss occurs when I edit an item in the Quick launch folder.

I am using Quick launch exclusively since XP, but the QL folder is placed in the user's account, and not configured as the HTG article outlines. I will try this next.
I am managing 5 identical Windows 10 installations, Each has a single administrator and a single user account. The Quick Launch is lost on each installation and all use keyboard indicators to switch between languages. After reboot or re-login, the toolbar is lost. I will try resolve this by moving the language bar to the top.

Pinning to the taskbar would be an option if they were not so far apart. My quick launch has 10 items.

@Dalcina, the location of the quick launch bar is the only difference in my installation. My shortcuts are in C:\Users\ineuw\configurations\quick_launch folder. If this is wrong, it means that the Explorer's Quick Launch is a system folder.

As for the keyboard selector, it is now set to float, instead of being fixed to the taskbar.

If you are stumbling over the location of a folder containing shortcuts, there are other ways of achieiving that.
    E.g.
    a. pin or add the folder to your start menu.
    b. Create new toolbar and select that folder (that's not the same as Quick launch)

    c. Use a free program such as the lightweight skinnable customisable StabLauncher which docks and optionally hides e.g. at the top of the screen - categorised tabs with full drag 'n drop support

    d. etc..
