Windows 10 is stuck at brand logo during the start up process

    The PC : Acer T3-715 Desktop Win 10 home 64b. 21H1

About a month ago, the OS updated to 21H1.Start up issues one after another right after the update.
No mouse or mouse lock up after booting.
Crash right after booting into Windows.
Crash 20~30 minutes after booting while the OS is working.
Various BSODs one after another at the start of the PC or anytime while the PC is working.
Start up process stops at various point during booting.
Finally, start up process is deadly stuck at the point of the brand logo.

    Current state:
    1.There is power on.
2.Start up process stuck at brand logo about 5 seconds after power on.
3.The OS does not respond to any operation or device such as flash sticks and DSLRs and memory cards.

    Have tried:
    1.Changed monitors, no difference.
2.Tried to get into BIOS, could not.
3.Windows installation media USB, the OS did not read the USB.
4.Pressed start button on & off repeatedly, the OS did not respond.

    Help, please?

    Thanks.
    Diano

This seems to be a pretty new PC - Acer T3-715 - is that correct?
If so, is it still under warranty?

Failures such as CMOS battery and disk would seem unlikely (although anything's possible).

Please confirm you have tried shutting it down, disconnecting power, holding the start button for a couple of minutes, reconnecting power, and attempting to reboot.

This is how ACER decribes accessing the BIOS/UEFI:

    Thank you, DalChina,

"This seems to be a pretty new PC - Acer T3-715 - is that correct?"
    Purchased in early 2016.

No, I have not tried this. I'll do it now.
i am pressing the start button down & now is for 4 minute & am going to reconnect the power & restart the PC.
Sorry to report. There is no difference.

    Thank you anyway.

Did you try detaching the hd and see if you can boot to bios.

My guess is a hardware issue or perhaps BIOS corruption. SIW2's idea is worth a shot.

I agree, SIW2's suggestion is worth trying. I can confirm from personal experience that a fault in a HD can prevent booting.

OK, so it must be the internal controller of the HDD that was at fault. But here comes the really strange bit - put it in an external USB housing and it is fully functional (read and write) and Chkdsk says it's healthy, BUT....

....if this disk is left connected, even in the USB enclosure, no PC it is connected to can boot from anything, its own HDD or a USB.

"Did you try detaching the hd"
This PC has 2 HDs, one is a SATA which is partitioned to C: & D:, the other one is an SSD on which OS is installed.
Do the all have to be detached?

    "a hardware issue"
Might be a bad sector of the SSD?

Try 1, and if not that, then both - it's a basic process of elimination.

Your objective would be to try to access the BIOS with the disk(s) out as said above.

What is the next to do if the HDs are detached and the PC boots into BIOS ? How do I install Windows 10 since there is no HD in the PC?

Your first task is to see if you CAN boot to BIOS. Can you do that?
There's no point in playing about with 'what if's at this stage.

If you can't succeed in doing that, all else is void, and you're faced with a warranty repair or a repair shop.
