Where are these Start Menu entries stored?

My Start Menu apps lists include Settings, Snip & Sketch, and Windows Security, none of which is listed in my <UserName> ... Programs or my ProgramData ... Programs lists in File Explorer. Is there an editable source for these items?

Thanks for the link, Samurai, but I knew all of that. As I stated in my OP, it's the stuff that's NOT IN the two Start Menu folders in File Explorer that I'm trying to sort out.

And I have successfully set up a bunch of custom folders in my Start Menus. I'm disappointed to hear that this capability will be squashed in Windows 11.

I stand happily corrected. I thought for sure I had read that custom groupings of shortcuts was not going to be doable.

I am so glad to know I was wrong.

Now if you'll just tell me we can use custom toolbars in W11, you'll make my day complete.
