    Graphics problem after reinstall W10

    Hello.

I had this "Corrupted partition" issue, so I had to format my hard disk, delete and recreate the falty partition, and reinstal all the drivers. Everythings fine except 3D graphics. I cannot run any App or game with 3D graphics. It bogs down the machine to a holt. Any thought please??

Edit: An error says I'm not using my Nvidia card, but I'm always using the integrated Intel GPU even when I do 3D or gaming. It says to change the Default GPU to the Nvidia card. How to do it?

I didn't knew that kind of features was availlable in Win10

If I had a NVidia GPU in my laptop I'll Go to the bios and Set The NVidia as Primary Video for everything. And Disable Integrated GFX if option where supplied.

The difficulty with laptops and Nvidia is you may end up fighting Nvidia's Optimus algorithm.

Which means that the OP might do well to install the laptop's drivers from Asus.

As no model is mentioned, we can't look for a link.

Loll got that ! But I'm a fighter... I would not hesitate to tempt the devil until satisfaction. But as bobkn said is right If anything else doesn't work you can go to asus for their oem drivers.

Ok so there were drop-down menus in 3D application right-click menus. I set the Nvidia to default there. Now it works properly.

Machine model: Asus Vivobook S15 X510UF.
    OS: Win 10 v1809, Build 17763.107.

You dont want to set everything to the nvidia gpu, let the 2d stuff ride on the integrated and save your battery some wear over the long term :)

I cant seem to find an exact match, but i believe these to be correct.

    Yours: Vivobook S15 X510

There are no drivers for this model on Asus anymore. But I had ealierly downloaded the drivers, and installed em', I was having the 3d problem so I tried to update any drivers from other sources. But nothing fixed the 3d thing, till i noticed the GVA spawing option.

    Sorry for the bad English.
