    Cannot remove search box from taskbar ???


    Hi,
    I have an issue with the search box on the lhs of my taskbar, I can't seem to remove it.
    Tried right clicking on the taskbar - went up to 'Search' - clicked on the tick beside 'Show Search Box' but all that does is remove the dropdown menu, and the search box remains ???

    Sorry, I worked it out after posting the question, clicked on 'Hidden' and it removed it.........

    No, you should click on 'Show search icon' or 'Hidden'. The tick is just there to show which on you have currently selected.
