How can we not have the welcome/splash/lock screen prior to pin

I know that one needs to earn money or that companies need to make a profit but this '1984' world we now live in is asking for too much.
I just reinstalled Windows 10 Pro. When you boot up a screen pops up (it has different names depending on where you look: Turning ON/OFF Splash Screen / How to disable the welcome screen on Windows 10 / Get rid of the Windows 10 lock screen). Regardless of what I try that screen keeps on popping up. This is what I tried:
    Msconfig --> check off ‘NoGUIBoot
    and
System Properties --> Advanced -->Performance Options --> Visual Effects --> Enable Peek (un checked box)
    and
Settings --> Lockscreen -->Show lockscreen background, -->set to Off.
    and
Settings/System/Notifications & action --> Notifications --> Show notifications set to Off (and the following 3 as well.
    and
regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -->SOFTWARE -->Policies àMicrosoft --> WindowsàNew Key, Rename New Key #1 as PersonalizationàNew DWORD (32-bit) Value -->Rename as NoLockScreen --> change the value from 0 to 1 click OK
Seriously????? Grr ???? I don't know what to think. I am going nuts.

Disable lock screen: have you seen the tenforums tutorial?
It looks as if you may have tried some of the methods.

You have Pro, so group policy is an option.

Enable or Disable Lock Screen in Windows 10

Should you have any questions about the tutorial, please post a comment after it.

Thank you both for your help.
dalchina: I tried your link none worked.
OPTION 1 Disable Lock Screen using Group Policy (no longer applicable to W10 Pro)
OPTION 2 Disable Lock Screen using a REG file (I had tried this before but forgot to list it)
OPTION 3 Disable Lock Screen using a Task (did not work)
OPTION 4 Disable Lock Screen using Security Policy Rule (not applicable since it says, "This option will not disable the lock screen at startup")
W10 Tweaker. I am trying your link now. I will update you.
(Addendum: I wonder if I explained my problem properly. When you boot into W10 or reboot a screen pops up. There is an image. You must hit Enter to remove that screen and then you get a window where you have to input your PIN. It is this initial Imaged Window, prior to the pin window which I am referring to.)

Update. w10 Tweaker. tried yo0ur link and this is what I got:
Person 1 suggests: The "Settings" --> Lockscreen is turned off and yet it still shows up
Person 2 suggests: the registry thing already tried before
Person 3 suggests: Sign in User Account Automatically at Windows 10 Startup (and that is not what I want to do. I DO want to sign in. I like having to use the security pin should I have guests.
The only other option left from this forum post is someone suggesting 'Winaero Tweaker' which I will consider but I already use 'OpenShell' hence wonder if I want 2 of such things.

Thanks for the review, sorry you couldn't find anything suitable.

Post #3 from MisterEd is the method I've successfully been using for the past few years with Windows 10 Home.

Did you read tomdsr's post #5 for Using Group Policy on 21H1?

It might be helpful to list your winver.

Since the tenforums tutorial did not work for you (but is a reputable document) I suggest you have a configuration or corruption issue.

    Please
    a. Create a new user for test purposes.
    b. Log in as that user.
    c. See if you can then disable the lock screen.

If you can, the problem lies with your current user profile.

    You say:
dalchina: I tried your link none worked.
OPTION 1 Disable Lock Screen using Group Policy (no longer applicable to W10 Pro)
It works for me. I've just used it. 21H1.

Why do you think it is no longer applicable?

The only other option left from this forum post is someone suggesting 'Winaero Tweaker'
    - you would find that's just a convenience tool which does one of the things given above.
    It's not a 'magic solution'.

There's usually a full explanation link on the tool, so you can compare for yourself what if actually does.

dalchina: re Disable Lock Screen. Why is it not applicable? Because on that page, there was a small note right after and it said exactly that, "No longer applicable to W10 Pro" so I did not bother trying it.
As to creating a 2nd user, I do not know if I mentioned it but this is immediately after a fresh clean re-installation so I doubt anything is wrong.
WinAero did work and I did look at their " explanation link" as to how they did 'Disable Lock Screen'. I am not sure if what I did was the same or not.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Unfortunately you have not completely read and understood the text.

    If you read on:
Starting in Windows 10 build 16170, this option will now also include the Windows 10 Pro edition.
    When was build 16170? 2017...
Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16170 for PCCategory: Insider

And as I said, it works for me. As I said, Winaero's tweaker is no magic or different solution. It's just a convenience tool.

Many things given in tutorials here are available via that tool.

Have you commented under the tutorial that it doesn't seem applicable to you, so as to get the author's reaction? I think the use of Insider build numbers, whilst accurate, makes it very unclear for non-Insiders.
