    yellow folders are read only + Google no help


    How do I change my folders from read only if I am supposed to?
    I tried the remove dot, apply to all sub folders, and apply, ok

    What is telling you to change that setting? What you are seeing is the Default of File Explorer [renamed from earlier Windows Explorer] but do make note of the "(Only applies to files in folder)" part.
