Copy and paste works for me using Lightshot.

    Steve,

How do I get pixel perfect screenshots?-image.png

And it works for me in Firefox & in Edge.
I had been using IE when I tested it before. This has been one of the last websites for which I routinely use IE; I think I'd better scrub round it completely from now on.

Thanks. I get that bit @Steve C, it is the Cut & Paste directly into the Post that has confused me.
Was your experience also using IE?

    Thanks,

It does not work for me either.

[Snipping tool does not have any Cut function]

I can copy from Snipping tool and paste into any of my own graphics applications but if I paste into a post here, nothing happens.
    Same for me Denis.

I have been playing with this and I can find NO way to . . .

It WOULD be so much SIMPLER.

    Paul,

Perhaps you could give Edge a quick whirl.

While this is an interesting diversion from the OP's question (I can paste directly into a post with Firefox) it doesn't answer @FoxEatsAces's question. That I believe I answered in post #8.

Unfortunately, I can't do that. I have excluded IE from Programs & Features. I have an Offline install of Google Chrome, and I have used Deflector to get away from Edge.

As quite rightly stated above, I will leave this for another day.

I agree. That's why I didn't post until after you had posted that solution.

    All the best,

You most certainly did! Thank you for your help, you really know your stuff.

Sorry I havn't checked back sooner. I get bad anxiety, assume everyone will make fun of my stupid questions, and then avoid returning to deal with it. It's a bad habit.

But everyone here is so nice and helpful, and now I feel silly.

I'm glad the topic was side tracked though, so we can all learn stuff.
