    Win +print keys ... or Win+PrtScr keys ?

Then what did you have to do to display the resultant captured image?

    Try just the PrtScr key?

1 Are there two markings on your PrintScrn key? If so then perhaps your default keyboard behaviour has changed and you now need the keyboard's Fn key as well as WinKey-PrntScrn, so you need
    Fn-WinKey-PrntScrn
Test that idea and see what happens. If it works then you can look at changing the default if you want to.

Or, perhaps one or both of those keyboard keys is not working.

    2 Does using
    WinKey-PrntScrn
put anything in the clipboard [you can test by using it then pasting into, say, MSPaint].

    3 Does using
    PrntScrn
put anything in the clipboard [you can test by using it then pasting into, say, MSPaint].

4 Does another combination using the WinKey work? Try WinKey-D to toggle minimising all windows & showing the desktop.

I deleted by mistake the screenshots folder in pictures. Since then I can't do screenshots . I don't know if there's a way how to recreate original folders in pictures

So you're saying that when you pressed both keys, an image was automatically created and saved in a Screenshots folder?

This sounds like 3rd party software was involved (hence the reason for wanting a more definitive/descriptive response)

Windows built-in screen capture saves the image to clipboard, and it then had to be pasted into an image viewing/managing program (like Paint, or 3rd party software like Irfanview).

I'd suggest that the auto image capture/creating/saving program that previously existed was lost in the reformat/re-install.

    That's exactly how it worked.
    I never installed a 3rd. party program

Is it possible this option came with a new device (pre-installed?)

How did you become aware that this was possible?

What were you taking screenshots of - the Windows desktop, a running program (e.g. a video player capturing stills)?

The PrntScrn key works on most of my computers but one has to use Fn + PrntScrn, a Notebook uses Fn + PrntScrn to toggle Wireless On or Off. Desktop keyboards don't have all the features of a Notebook keyboard and not all Notebook keyboards have the same layout.
