I just did a clean install is there reason I can't Search from my Google Search Pad on my Firefox Default Search Eng It was Ok before?
But now I cannot do any search unless I type into the Address Bar and before I finish all these Prior searches pop up on my screen? I just want to type My Query into the Google Search Bar on the Firefox Web Page but it won’t do it and I deleted all the OTHER Search engins Firefox has always been my default' since whenever Can somone help please or should I try DuckDuckGoGo Firefox help is so Vague and it still tells you to use annother Search engine

19043.1165 is 21H1, not 21H2.

You have to change the settings of your search engine so it won`t bring up previous searches.

It is pretty annoying when previous searches come up, but it`s designed to help people.

Did you create a backup before you did the new install ?

Hi, AddRAM Yes I did but it was on a EX HDD and Google Drive and I cannot find them, If you mean Bookmarks saved as json I kept them up until a week ago on Google Drive except they were not syncing ?? But thats Ok I can Import 80% from the EX HDD if that's what you meant

Edit Closing this nothing to be done about it' Its Bug of some sort I don't know if its Permanent Have to wait and see

I need to re state the main issue is that No matter what' I cannot Type a single letter in the Google Search Pad on the Google Browser Desktop" Its Dead' it will not let me enter anything to Search from there instead it Flashes to the Firefox Search as soon as I type the first letter into the main Google Desktop Search Pad" so anything I was starting to Type appears in the Firefox ADDRESS Toolbar cheers Dasha

I can confirm that. What you describe is true and there is no way to resolve it in Settings.
Maybe it's a bug. I think, it wasn't happening in the past and perhaps they'll fix it in future.

You may go to Firefox forum and send a post there or see if there is a workaround.

Hi yeah they are probably being Acquired by Goo anyway if you know what I mean?
I did the FF forum thing before here nothing but the stuff we did above and nothing about the Search Panel

I do NOT use Firefox but I thought that I would try and help.

I have seen this problem before on the Internet. Their Forum is probably the place to go for advice and a solution, if there is one . . .

I know this is a bit drastic, but have you tried Re-Setting / Refreshing Firefox? . . .
