    Delete Folders/Files

Years ago before I knew how to use utilities to backup the system I seems to have copied the Windows, Program Files, Program File (x86), and Program Data folders into the C:\Temp folder and now I cannot delete them. First it says admin authorization required, and then that these are system files and cannot be deleted.
Other than doing a clean install is there any other way to get rid of them?

Hi, I will assume your PC is otherwise functional and these are just redundant copies.

The question of how to delete 'undeletable' files and folders is asked again and again. See e.g.
Windows 10 folder cannot be deleted

    - and you can use 'Take Ownership' too.. there's a tutorial on adding that to the context menu - in the Tutorials section.
